Yes, a deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The amount varies depending on the length of stay and number of villas booked. The remaining balance is due before arrival.

We prefer to greet our guests personally to ensure a smooth arrival and answer any questions. However, self check-in can be arranged for late arrivals with prior notice.

Chania International Airport (CHQ) is approximately 54 km from Nusa Retreat, about 50-60 minutes by car. We can arrange airport transfers upon request.

The Balos ferry port is just 2 minutes by car from Nusa Retreat. Boats depart daily to Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island. You can also drive to the Balos viewpoint (about 30 minutes) and hike down.

Falasarna Beach is 10 minutes by car - famous for its stunning sunsets. Elafonisi Beach with its pink sand is about 60 minutes away, perfect for a day trip.

While you can walk to Trachilos Beach (500m) and local tavernas, we recommend having a car to fully explore western Crete's beaches and attractions. We can arrange car hire for you.

The pool at NUSA Balos (the 6-bedroom combination) features a heated pool with jacuzzi. The pools at NUSA Gramvousa and NUSA Falasarna are not heated but are very comfortable during the season (May-October).

Yes! We offer boat trip bookings, private chef dinners, breakfast delivery, car/bike hire, airport transfers, daily cleaning, pre-stocking service, and more. Just let us know your needs.

Mid-stay cleaning is included for stays of 7 nights or more. Daily housekeeping can be arranged as an additional service upon request.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Nusa Retreat.

Smoking is not permitted inside the villas. You may smoke in designated outdoor areas.
